Overview

My client has experienced remarkable growth recently and has launched a Retail ERP system to support further expansion. Following a comprehensive Discovery phase for requirements gathering, they have successfully rolled out a new business management platform and are in search of an experienced IT Project Manager to assist during the hypercare phase.
Reporting Structure: This role reports to the Director of Logistics and Projects. The selected candidate will be responsible for planning, overseeing, and ensuring the smooth daily operation of the new system. We are looking for someone who is technically proficient and has experience managing complex business systems in regulated settings. The ideal candidate will be well-organized, positive, detail-oriented, and capable of thriving under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and address risks and issues associated with the new ERP system.
  • Collaborate with the current vendor to navigate through the hypercare phase.
  • Coordinate internal and external resources to resolve system issues and implement changes.
  • Manage the change request process to minimize impacts on budget and scope.
  • Ensure deliverables are completed and approved on schedule.
  • Track and communicate project status, including progress on milestones, resource needs, issues, risks, and dependencies.
Qualifications:
  • Essential experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central.
  • Immediate availability is preferred due to urgent resource needs.
  • Over 5 years of relevant experience in implementing ERP projects, particularly in retail and multi-entity international environments.
  • Proven track record in implementing complex business systems, including integrations, data migration, and system cutover.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Agile and waterfall methodologies.
  • Experience working with vendors and third-party solutions.
