My client is looking for a DevOps Engineer to help maintaining their current shop environment, new B2C cloud platform, which requires designing, operating and monitoring new microservices to fill their needs.

Your tasks and responsibilities will be:

  • Help to design a new infrastructure for microservices around a new middleware / cloud platform

  • Operate and improve the existing CI/CD pipeline with Digital.AI Release and design a new one for the new microservices

  • Manage existing and new infrastructure

    • Redis, Elasticsearch, RabbitMQ, PostgreSQL, Spryker (PHP), Splunk

    • Node.js, Docker, Kubernetes, Kibana

  • Monitor the state of the B2B and B2C application stack

  • Work collaboratively and closely with the development team to ensure stability and performance

  • Interact with service providers and partners

Requirements / Your profile

Must Have:

  • Experience working on Linux-based infrastructure

  • Experience with configuration and managing databases, stateful systems such as PostgreSQL (Redis and RabbitMQ is a plus)

  • Strong expertise in container-based architectures, Kubernetes, Docker and automated pipelines

  • Experience working with Git

  • Awareness of critical concepts in DevOps and Agile principles

  • Ability to adopt new technologies

  • Effective communication skills

  • Knowledge or a keen interest in distributed systems

  • Strong English skills, German is a plus

  • 3+ years of experience

  • Spryker (PHP)

  • Splunk

  • Node.js

  • Kibana

  • cloud services (preferably Microsoft Azure)

Start: ASAP

Duration: 3 months (very likely with extension)

Onsite/ Remote: 100% remote

Workload: Full Time

Project Language: English (German is a Plus)
