Solutions Architect, Chichester (Remote Working) £60,000 - £85,000

Are you an experienced Architect looking for a new role?

This company is invading the e-commerce space. They have naturally grown over the last ten years, however this growth has now accelerated so they are wanting to further develop the architecture team. This company is remote first, however, they do have a presence in Chichester if you prefer to work in the office.

This organisation is starting to migrate into microservices and modernise their code base so require applicants with expertise in this area. This role will consist of designing new solutions with microservices in mind. The successful candidate will be setting up the blueprint for this so will have lots of autonomy and will be able to put their mark on it.

Some of what you could be doing:

  • Working alongside wider teams to develop scalable solutions and products

  • Hands-on coding with devs for around 50% of the time

  • Assessing current architecture and working with the teams to recommend solutions to improve it

  • Collaborating with other senior stakeholders to determine functional and non-functional requirements for new software and applications

  • Leading brainstorming to develop solutions for business needs or problems

  • Monitoring other members of the team

  • Participating in final tech and solution selection

  • Assessing the final product or solution before release

This company is looking for someone who is passionate about technology, with a background in .NET.

Other elements of the tech stack include:

.NET & Angular, C#, PostgreSQL, AWS (Lambda, EC2 etc), EFK (Elasticsearch, Prometheus, Grafana, Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, StackStorm, Jenkins and Agile.
