Senior Java Developer | Remote | 100k
This client are a well-established, highly profitable and fast-growing company that has emerged as the leading online Matched Betting platform. They make it easy for our subscribers to earn tax-free money by teaching them how to become betting experts and providing them with the right tools and processes to be successful. They are a community of 60 fully remote employees, 25,000 active customers and over 90,000 social media followers and we're just getting started.
They are now looking for someone to manage the development and maintenance of their bookmaker project. When this unique project comes to fruition, it will revolutionise their business and truly delight their customers.
Senior Java Developer:
- Minimum 5 years of Back-End Java experience
- Strong knowledge of the Spring framework
- Experience working with Microservices architecture
- Knowledge of messaging queues (e.g. Kafka)
- Building/consuming RESTful APIs
- Good knowledge of relational databases (e.g. MySQL)
- Basic knowledge of NoSQL databases (e.g. Mongo)
- Good knowledge of Google Cloud (or AWS)
- Experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes)
- Test Driven Development (TDD)
- Experience working in an Agile environment (e.g. Scrum)
