Release Engineer (Remote and/or Slough) up to £40,000

Do you have some understanding of Development or DevOps and you're looking for the next step up in your career?

This organisation sits at the heart of UK's businesses and works to simplify their critical and operational tasks by offering an integrated and automated customer focussed accountancy software. They have gone from strength to strength over the last couple of years and are continuing to grow.

Whilst Software Development will be part of this role, it will be much more varied than that. You will be undertaking tasks which facilitate the design and efficiency in producing the compiled versions of their software and applications along with the installations to deliver them.

What to expect from this role:

  • Building systems and automating for efficient output from the Developers source code including 3rd party products and integrating a variety of sources
  • Ensuring installation is full proof and works across all supported platforms. The team creates an ever changing bespoke diagnostic application as a front end application to the installer. This application is continually being enhanced to provide better data collection and further the customer experience.
  • Tools and statistical gathering using object oriented code are created to improve the service to our application developers, support teams and managers.
  • Unit testing and providing insight into new, exciting tech to intro to the team

This is the perfect opportunity for a Junior-Mid Developer or DevOps Engineer with a year or so of experience who is looking to take their career to the next level and gain more experience in the areas above.
