£70,000-78,000k Depending on experience

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading technology organisation in the clinical and regulatory life sciences sector in which they combine software and leading expert services to offer a unique solutions portfolio with easy to achieve automation via data generation.

My client is looking for a Lead .Net Developer to lead a team of engineers in developing software tools for the business needs both internally and externally. This position requires strong technical and communication skills as well as both independent and team working.

Your responsibilities:

  • Lead an engineering team in the creation of high-quality, performant, and scalable software solutions.
  • Design, architect, and write code for a variety of new and current software applications.
  • Provide mentoring to members of the development team.
  • Contribute ideas and suggestions to ensure we are developing code in line with best practice and using latest technologies

Key Skills:

  • Strong commercial experience in web development using the full Microsoft .Net development stack (specifically C#, MVC, .Net Core), SQL, front-end frameworks (jQuery, React, etc).
  • Commercial experience in Azure
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Experience in building Scalable solutions
  • A passion for technology and developing your own technical skills.

The role is based in Colchester, in which they do offer flexible working but the company would be keen on getting everyone together at least every other month. Colchester is one of Britain's historic towns with great transport links from London and surrounding areas. (There is free parking onsite too!)

The salary ranges from £70,000-78,000k depending on experience with excellent benefits included (as well as a private chef for free meals when you choose to go to the office!)
