Lead DevOps Engineer - Paying Up To £75K - Flexible Working.

I am currently supporting a successful client in the pharmaceutical industry who are in search of a Lead DevOps Engineer to help manage and drive the DevOps team. This company places great importance in allowing its employees high autonomy, therefore enabling you to add your own personal touch when building your showpieces.

You will play a pivotal role in maintaining, implementing and supporting the product infrastructure. In particular you will need to do this with your team both in the cloud and on-premise for existing and new products.

The Individual:

  • Proven experience with Cloud (Azure)
  • A confident understanding of Window and Linux Server Administration
  • Networking (Firewall, Routing and Switching)
  • A strong experience with CI/CD Tools
  • Networking (Firewall, Routing and Switching)
  • Experience with Atlassian Tools (Jira/Confluence)
  • Experience with Powershell, Python or Bash
  • The ability to thrive under pressure and provide solutions
  • A passionate leader who has their team at the forefront of their actions


  • Supporting the internal development teams in a DevOps ethos
  • Making sure to monitor and third line support alerts are addressed
  • Involved in all people processes for the DevOps Engineers
  • Automating tasks
  • Driving the DevOps teams through pushing not only yourself but the team to learn more
  • Building infrastructure with IaC, pipelines with yams and monitoring with tools.
