Dev Ops Engineer - WM UK IT Development
Team
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer (hands-on, problem solver, technical expert) with strong technical
leadership which would be able to:
* build and setup new CI/CD tooling and pipelines
* work on ways to automate and improve development and release processes
* work with software developers and software engineers to ensure development follows established
processes and patterns
* collaborate with technology and business partners
* write, test and examine code
* build and maintain software in an Agile, fast paced DevOps environment
* reduce lead time of business changes, increase deployment frequency

Your Team
You'll be working in WMUK IT Development in London. We create solutions for our business team and
clients. That's where we build new applications and maintain and enhance many more. It's a very
demanding, fast paced, and exciting environment. This is the place where innovation is our daily business.
Your Expertise
· cloud and cloud native PaaS products (Microsoft Azure preferred)
· microservices and Containers; Helm Charts, Docker/Docker Compose, Kubernetes
· worked with agile SDLC and TDD methodologies
· familiarity with testing frameworks and tooling; Selenium, Cucumber, Robot Framework, SonarQube
· knowledge of Unix / Linux platforms
· proficient with any type of Scripting
· good understanding of DevOps principles (CI/CD, release automation)
· experience with Ansible, REX
· use of monitoring/reporting tools with Netcool, App Dynamics or Splunk is beneficial
· configuration management experience with Puppet or other relevant configuration management tools
* keen interest in self-learning of new tools and products
· experience in the financial industry is a plus working knowledge of client-side web technologies
(JavaScript, JSON, HTML, CSS)
· knowledge of IIS, Azure AD, SQL Server, Network Proxys and issue management tooling
· know-how of agile development practices (Scrum, XP, Kanban, etc.)
