Front-End Developer - Javascript/Wordpress - Remote - £30-45k

My client are a digital agency looking for a Front-End Developer to become a major player within thier thriving agency to help push the digital department forward. Working with clients large and small, across various sectors, you'll be integral in driving our digital offering forward, as part of an ambitious, passionate team.

Job Overview:

This role will involve being able to work on a large variety of front-end based website projects within Wordpress, as well as other digital projects in platforms such as Laravel. The successful candidate will need to support and lead front-end development projects, as well as be able to provide solutions and recommendations for front-end based development tasks.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong knowledge of Wordpress development

  • Strong development skills in HTML, CSS (SASS ideal) and Javascript

  • Experience working in an AGILE methodology

  • Understanding of YARN, Gulp, Composer and similar build tools

  • Good working knowledge of GIT / BitBucket

  • Experience using a LAMP stack

  • Strong understanding of development methods and processes

  • Be able to share knowledge and skills with team

  • Have an eye for identifying possible future development and plan accordingly

  • Accurately time entire Wordpress builds and singular tasks.

  • Some PHP and SQL experience is desirable
