This will be an on-site position located in Dallas TX, though we currently are working remotely. The ideal candidate for the position will be a self-starter who is driven to find innovative ways to improve the way our product is built, deployed and delivered. The candidate will be results-oriented, passionate about the improvement of the developer and user experience, and is a critical and strategic thinker. The candidate is highly organized, can multitask and meet aggressive deadlines, and is a team-player and team-builder who can make meaningful and long-lasting connections with others.

The candidate must have the ability to assess and analyze a wide range of information to draw conclusions on how to improve the scalability, resilience, security, and availability of our system. In addition, the candidate will work on cross-functional teams as a DevOps/DevSecOps engineer. You will provide strong leadership through technical excellence and mentoring, and your contributions will be key to the success of the business.


  • Work on a DevOps team that is responsible for Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), GitOps CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and the implementation and deployment of our cloud-native tools

  • Provide technical leadership through mentoring, a commitment to technical excellence, accountability, transparency, and skills development

  • Implement a scalable CI/CD pipeline that supports various cloud deployment strategies such as Blue Green, Canary, etc.

  • Partner with Development, Security, and Compliance teams to identify, manage, document, and implement best practices and automated processes for cloud and internal solutions

  • Stay up to date with the latest application DevOps developments and trends to continually improve internal processes and tooling

  • Assess current applications and architecture to determine where DevOps methodologies can be meaningfully applied

  • Contribute to technical design, product and vendor selection, application and technical architectures related to DevOps, transformation, and automation efforts

  • Create an open, honest, accountable, and collaborative team environment, providing timely and meaningful feedback

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or similar

  • 3+ years of experience with Agile, DevOps practices

  • 3+ years of experience with AWS development and management (AWS Associate certification or higher preferred)

  • Strong knowledge of network fundamentals, including design, routing and switching, firewalls, denial-of-service, load balancing, and debugging.

  • Proven record working on teams to meet aggressive timelines while maintaining high-quality standards

  • Proven record applying DevOps principles and tools used for Cloud-Native Applications including Terraform, Micro-service Architecture, Kubernetes, Docker, Istio, Envoy, etc.

  • 3 years experience with scalable CI/CD solutions (Gitlab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc)

  • 3 years of operational experience managing multi-region large scale international


  • Proven experience implementing scalability, availability, and resiliency principles

  • Solid understanding of AWS Well-Architected Framework

  • Operational experience with Incident Management

  • Strong understanding of data structures, software design patterns, and TDD methodology with proficiency in Python, Golang, or similar


  • Experience with the use and deployment of Nginx, Postgres, Redis, Memcached, GitLab/GitHub, and the Atlassian platform

  • Experience with deployment tools such as Spinnaker, GitLab CI, GitHub, Jenkins

  • Certified Kubernetes Developer or Administrator

  • AWS Certified DevOps professional certification

  • AWS Solutions Architect Professional/Associate certification

  • AWS SysOps Administrator Associate

  • Any security certifications
