  • Maintain and update documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing large-scale Software-Defined Storage (SDS) solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with storage systems from leading vendors such as HPE, Dell, NetApp, Hitachi, IBM, PureStorage, or VAST Data.
  • Proficient in storage protocols (iSCSI, S3, NFS, FC[oE], NVME over TCP) and Linux/Linux kernel storage stack.
  • Experience managing object storage solutions (e.g., SeaweedFS, MinIO, Cloudian HyperStore).
  • Familiarity with cloud-native backup solutions for OpenStack (e.g., Freezer, Karbor, Trilio).
  • Expertise in clustered/parallel file systems (Lustre, GPFS) and container storage technologies (Rook, CSI, PVC).
  • Knowledge of identity management and authorization solutions (PKI, LDAP, OAUTH, OpenID).
  • Strong understanding of backup systems, disaster recovery principles, and data protection strategies.
  • Experience with data encryption, security practices, and hardening of Storage and Backup systems.
  • Solid knowledge of data centre network design and related technologies (OSI model, TCP/IP stack, firewalling, routing, VLAN/VxLAN).
  • Hands-on experience with monitoring and observability tools (Zabbix, Nagios, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
