Role: UX/UI Designer

Job Type: Contract (Outside IR35)

Length: 3 Months (view to extend)

Location: Fully Remote

Project description:

A hight profile client has asked us to look at their "Contact us" page on in regards to user experience as one team are currently receiving a very high number of requests. We will need to re-design the journey and the interface.


You will will work on a 2 sprint (4 week) rolling basis in an agile methodology to work on a sales prototype. The prototype will house information on forest projects which can be easily accessible to capital providers for investment. The prototype will be a high fidelity version

Required skills:

Good research, discovery and analytical skills, including planning & preparation
Talking to Stakeholders and end users. Workshop facilitation
Researching current products and user experience
Researching competitor products and best of breed products
Strong visual design
Able to synthesise discovery findings and create presentations to clients
Customer journey maps (as-is and to-be)
Systems Maps
Personae development
Empathy maps
Strong UX and UI - structure, patterns, modern UI principles and patterns and IXD techniques
Can conceptualise a future state experience. Wireframes, high level structural designs
Experience designing functionally rich websites and applications (native and web)
Strong prototyping skills - preferably on a high fidelity prototype tool e.g. proto.io
Able to show evidence of high quality outputs - documenting and presenting outputs in powerpoints as a handover/leave behind piece
Presenting work to stakeholders in workshops and presenting prototype work quickly in meetings

Desirable skills:

Able to work on projects alone as the only designer taking full ownership of the project
