UX Designer

Hybrid - 2 days a week - Wallingford

£60,000

We are currently on the search of a talented UX Designer to become a part of its team that works closely with the fitness and leisure industry. In this role, the UX Designer will assume a pivotal position in shaping user experiences for the company's products and services. Responsibilities encompass understanding user requirements, conducting research, generating design deliverables, and advocating for user-centric design principles within the organisation.

The Role:

• Facilitate collaborative sessions to understand user needs and align them with business objectives, ensuring our products meet user expectations effectively.

• Take ownership of ongoing user and industry persona research, providing valuable insights that inform design decisions and strategies.

• Produce wireframes, interactive prototypes, and process flows to visually communicate and convey complex design ideas, enhancing user interactions.

• Conduct user research, usability testing, and rapid prototyping to validate design hypotheses, gathering feedback for iterative enhancements.

• Develop high-fidelity designs ready for software implementation, ensuring a seamless transition from concept to execution, while championing user-centric design principles.

The Candidate:

• Several years of similar role experience with a portfolio highlighting prototyping skills.

• Ability to simplify and improve user experiences, especially in complex flows.

• Strong communication skills for explaining design concepts to colleagues.

• Self-motivated, adaptable to a fast-paced environment, and skilled in design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Photoshop, InVision)

• Experience working with a SAAS product
