Senior/Lead Automation Tester

Up to 75k

Austin Fraser has an exciting opportunity for a Senior and Lead Automation Tester to join a Fintech company, which provides a range of currency services, including currency conversion and money exchanges. They are now looking for both a Senior and Lead to join their agile environment, with 4+ years of commercial experience working with Cypress, Javascript and Postman. The role:

  • Developing automated tests with for C# and Javascript apps using Specflow, Postman and Cypress.
  • Observing quality from an end to end perspective
  • Collaborating with product owners, ux/ui and architects to find the best approach to a solution.
  • Analysing and interpreting qualitative and quantitative findings from tests.
  • Driving strategy
  • Taking a lead on workshops
  • Mentoring QA Testers



The candidate:

  • Experience in a Senior QA position
  • Strong experience with Postman, Specflow and Cypress.
  • Experience working with Selenium is highly desirable
  • Experience Backend API testing with Postman
  • Experience across various test levels - smoke, functional, usability, system integration, performance, regression, and user acceptance
  • Proven experience of migrating from manual to automated testing, and a passion of shift left approach, using tools specflow, cypress and Postman
  • Proven experience building automation frameworks from scratch - rest services, mobile and web applications.
