Senior DevOps Engineer (Remote) up to £90,000

This company strives for innovation and is growing both its DevOps and SRE teams in order to achieve its large scale growth plans. The DevOps team builds the platform for the development teams to self-service environments, manages and extends the toolchain that developers use to build, test, deploy and run their systems. The successful candidate will be working with development teams to move to this model and provide support and training for the platform and toolchain.
What else to expect from the role:
- Measuring the toolchain efficiency and quality, continually enhancing and proposing recommendations
- Collaborating with other teams to automate the provisioning of 'route to production environments
- Setting the common standards for using the platform and toolchain, working to best practice
- Accountable to identify and agreeing on a toolchain strategy with key stakeholders, implementing and continually optimising the toolset to improve efficiency and quality
- Collaborate to optimise the overall delivery to improve quality and reduce any risk and impact to service
- Appropriately introduce new concepts that provide a business benefit
- Promote a DevOps culture - implementation of relevant processes and tools.
- Create dashboards with key performance and availability indicators, to monitor real-time and receive alerts.
- Develop and maintain design and troubleshooting documentation.
