Overview
Scrum Master - Hybrid Working - Up to £80k (DOE) + Bonus and Share Options - Bracknell
A large, established and global finance company is looking for a pragmatic candidate to scrum master 2/3 teams.
About you:
You will be supporting the delivery teams, guiding them on how to best optimise Agile/ scrum practices. You will coordinate sprints, retrospectives, reviews, daily standups and help create a productive environment where the team is self-managing. You will facilitate discussion and provide conflict resolution, and be flexible in your approach to best suit business needs.
Key Requirements:
- Demonstrated successful Agile coaching experience with multiple teams
- Around 2+ years of experience as a Scrum Master for a software development team, helping team transition from Waterfall to Agile
- Strong collaboration and communication skills- ability to communicate with senior-level stakeholders and business stakeholders
- Pragmatic and flexible approach
- Strong data analysis skills
- Excellent mentoring and coaching skills - the ability to mentor more junior members in the team
- Ability to work flexibly across different time zones
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of other Agile approaches
- Experience with JIRA, Coda, Aha, Visio

Our client is mainly looking for candidates with a good understanding of scrum, but is also patient, flexible (not strict of Agile methodologies), and is willing to come into an organisation that is changing and transforming. Soft skills are largely important to the client, especially for this role- you would need to show your adaptability in your coaching and scrum master activities.
The right candidate would be someone who is an experienced scrum master who is able to translate jargon into plain English and vice versa. They would like to see that you have guided, coached, mentored and influenced scrum teams rather than managed/ is responsible for them... aka a true scrum master!
