QA Automation Engineer | Remote | $85k - $105k base

An exciting opportunity to join the leading stack emissions monitoring software development company as a QA Automation Engineer has become available! This engineering team has developed and maintained software packages installed at over 650 power plants and other industries throughout the country.

Utilizing Agile methodologies in two-week sprint cycles, the development team works to improve the software development process and are looking for team members who believe that good test automation is critical to the overall success, efficiency and health of the development cycle.

You are a mid-level QA Test Automation Engineer who will prepare data sets to test logic, error handling and system workflows. In addition, the QA automation engineer will collaborate with both development and product teams to build test plans and defect verifications and report on key metrics to ensure the highest quality deliverable as well as identity areas to improve testing coverage.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related engineering field.
  • 4+ years experience in Software QA, preferably in a .Net environment
  • 2+ years experience in c#
  • Ideally 1 year of experience with shell scripting language (e.g. Powershell, Bash, etc).
  • 2+ years experience in Automation using Selenium, Appium or WinAppDriver
  • Proficient with writing SQL queries
  • Habit of writing clean, re-usable & parameterized scripts for test cases, ensuring test coverage.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Experience with code build, and version control tools (Git related)
  • Great communication skills - facilitation, negotiation.
  • Good team player, hungry and self-starter.
