Lead Site Reliability Engineer

Colchester / Hybrid working

£90,000-100,000

An exciting opportunity is available to join a forward thinking and leading technical medtech service organisation who specialise in Pharmaceuticals. You will be working as part of an established team to work on both greenfield & existing applications ensuring reliability, resilience and availability. This is a great chance to work for a company who are using tech for good!

Salary is dependent on experience for this role but at a minimum they are looking for someone with a passion for SRE who is able to work under pressure and in fast paced environments. It's also key for them that the person they bring on is a compassionate leader who is able to communicate concisely and clearly. As an SRE withing this business, you can expect to spend 50% of your time in operations and the other 50% reducing operation TOIL using your software engineering skills.

What technical skills are they looking for?

  • Azure
  • Kubernetes
  • Python or Go scripting
  • MySQL.
  • IaC tools such as Terraform
