IT DevOps Engineer (w/m/d) - in Munich

Location: Munich

Salary: 70.000 - 85.000 € (depending on the qualification)

Contract type: permanent position

Our client in Munich is active in the automotive industry and works together with system administrators, software developers, data scientists and data analysts according to the DevOps principle.

What are your tasks as an IT DevOps Engineer (m/w/d)

  • You will collaborate with software developers and be responsible for troubleshooting

  • You provide and operate the cloud platform (currently the systems are run on AWS with infrastructure-as-code

    using Terraform)

  • You automate and optimize the operational processes and develop e.g. monitoring tools and integrate them

What should you bring as an IT DevOps Engineer (m/w/d)

  • Completed studies or training in computer science or equivalent

  • Cloud: You understand cloud architecture and have several years of experience with one or more cloud

    platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), ideally you have already written Terraform for AWS

  • You can write scripts using Terraform

  • You bring experience managing a cloud-based, containerized infrastructure using Kubernetes

  • You bring experience in containerized applications with CI/CD using GitLab

  • Advantageous: use of open source technologies, database experience (SQL), experience in Prometheus,

    development skills with Pyhon and/or Java

  • Very good knowledge of English (as English is spoken as well as documented in the IT team)
