Head of Development - up to £130,000 plus benefits package.

A key client of mine based in West London is currently recruiting a new Head of Development during an exciting phase of growth and expansion. As the Head of Development you will be taking an active lead of the technology team and play an instrumental role in guiding business strategy for this exciting brand in the retail sector.

Few Responsibilities:

  • Managing and coaching a team of senior professional web developers made up of direct and indirect reports.
  • Partner directly with major stakeholders internally and externally, including product owners and the senior leadership team.
  • Owning the long term business strategy for web development aligned to the business objectives, with continuous improvement measures.

Requirements:

  • Exposure to working in a retail, e-commerce or product based environment is essential.
  • We are looking for a credible and hands-on Head of Web Development with 10+ years of experience.
  • Technology - Azure, SQL Scripting, C# as well as working in an agile environment and implementing CI/CD pipelines.
The ideal candidate will be a hands-on individual who is looking for an exciting opportunity to progress with the company as it grows internationally. You will be expected to have a collaborative mindset and be part of the team and on site 3 days a week.
Salary/Benefits on offer for this role will vary depending on experience.
