This successful software company is quickly revolutionising the energy environment to allow for a smarter, more sustainable energy system, permitting energy companies to increase efficiencies and reduce costs. Through their leading online energy marketplace, they are quickly becoming the go-to providers for flexible energy procurement solutions. With their next round of investment recently having been finalised, they are now looking to grow their successful tech team and are thus looking for a Data Engineer to join the team. You will be working on their existing microservices architecture as well as helping with other exciting greenfield innovation projects. Skills:

  • 2+ years of experience as a Data engineer.
  • Comfortable and familiar with data engineering concepts such as ETL processes, database architecture and database performance.
  • Proficient with SQL, analysing data, and basic statistics.
  • Experience with Pandas/PySpark/Python
  • Good knowledge of data processing in Python.
  • You can understand and clearly articulate concepts and relationships in data to technical and non-technical team members
  • Familiar with software development best practices, TDD, git, agile project management.

You'll be starting immediately and taking on existing projects so need to be of a strong mindset of getting things done.
