As Head of Tech Services, I’m responsible for all things technical at Austin Fraser. I’m very solution driven with a can do attitude. I’ve gained vast experience in the world of IT having worked for several tech and utilities companies, Compaq, HP, Vodafone, EDF Energy, BT, Ministry of Defence, and my varied experience has been one as a technical resource, design, delivery, project or senior manager. I hold a multitude of IT technical qualifications, as well as PRINCE2 and ITIL, which enables me to take on requests for solutions from the ground up through to delivery and support.
After starting at AF in 2017, I made large changes to the IT estate. This included helping AF achieve GDPR and designing & building the offices in Munich, Denver (twice!), Hamburg, Berlin, Dallas and San Diego with the tech required to operate. I have also transformed the front end infrastructure from desk-based to a mobile workforce. I upgraded the Wi-Fi networks across all offices, added resilient global VPNs, replaced old desk phones to softphones and issued everyone with a MacBook to enable an agile workforce to work wherever, whenever.
When COVID-19 hit us and we needed to work remotely, everyone at Austin Fraser was successfully able to operate without any change required to our infrastructure which allowed our business to continue as before with minimal impact.
