Senior Solution Architect / Hybrid - Please note, this job doesn't offer sponsorship!

£70,000 to £85,000 / C# / .NET

Are you looking to work within a sustainable and resilient sector, powered by data?

Austin Fraser is recruiting on behalf of their client for a Senior Solution Architect. You would be joining a business that's been providing financial information for the past 25 years.

For this role you'll be working closely with the CTO, Head of Software and Application Support to develop and maintain a software architecture plan for the business.

The role would suit any Solution Architect who doesn't mind taking the lead and communicating with multiple people across the business.

Please be aware, this role would require you to be in the office two days a week.

Few Responsibilities:

  • Define a migration and modernisation strategy, leading the re-architecture of our software.

  • Keep up to date with the latest developments in software architecture and development, with particular focus on data processing and analytics ('big data'), machine learning and natural language processing and cloud computing.

  • Ensure metrics associated with architecture improvements are defined captured allowing you to easily demonstrate the success of change

Requirements:

  • Hands on experience with C#/ .NET

  • Experience with SQL and Angular

  • Cloud experience (preferable Azure)

  • Strong background in web application architecture

  • In-depth experience of working within an agile environment
