Austin Fraser currently has an exciting opportunity for a Lead Software Engineer in Test to join a successful AI company in a stimulating and intellectually challenged environment! The company is revolutionising the legal industry through its innovative AI based solutions through automation and machine learning. This successful start up company is now looking for a Lead Software Engineer in Test with experience using Cypress, familiar testing modern Javascript frameworks and has in-depth leadership experience which includes building out a QA team. The role:

  • Design and develop automated test frameworks
  • Establishing a QA function so that there is a there is a sufficient QA resource across teams
  • Manage a team of QA's
  • Writing high quality code

The candidate:

  • Extensive experience writing automated test suites, validating functionality by developing and executing unit, integration, system and performance tests
  • Experience recruiting and building out a QA function
  • Familiar with JavaScript libraries, such as Cypress, with experience of testing Modern JS frameworks.
  • Good understanding of Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, and REST/GraphQL APIs
  • Background working in a Startup environment
  • In depth understanding of the software development life cycle
