Austin Fraser are working with a comprehensive end to end insurance software company that provide top solutions for underwriting, policy administration, assistance and claims handling, rating, billing, digital and analytics.
They are now looking for an experienced Java Developer who will support, develop and maintain the integration capability of an enterprise class cloud-native web application.
Java Developer
Work with our Enterprise Service Bus using Java, Spring, Camel, CXF, Karaf and ActiveMQ to provide a rich, dynamic API for portal consumption and connectivity to hundreds of insurance, financial and bespoke data sources in the ICE ecosystem.
They have a strong DevOps culture with managed multi-tenant hosted solutions in AWS and Kubernetes/ OKD.
You will use the Atlassian development suite; Jira, Confluence, Bamboo and Bitbucket.
Requirements
- Java Development background
- Experience of Apache Camel and/ or strong web service capabilities previously integrating applications and data
- Educated to degree level or equivalent commercial experience
- Must have between two and four years of commercial Java experience
- Candidates must possess excellent communications skills and be prepared to voice their opinion during team discussions etc
