Hardware/Platform Specialist - Hybrid Working - £45,000
Austin Fraser are supporting a new client that develops applications as well as deliver on premise solutions.
They are a hugely successful business working with some of the largest organisations across the globe.
The Role:
As the Platform Specialist you will provide high level technical support for customer configurations for a variety of requirements, whether that is on premise or hosted SaaS installations.
This varied role will see you carrying out remedial actions, ongoing maintenance as well as site visits and upgrades when needed and have detailed a few of the responsibilities below:
Responsibilities:
- Exceptional customer service
- Experience in design, build and maintenance of hardware
- Configuration and management of cloud deployed solutions
- Carry out installs, upgrades and the deployment of fixes/patches as needed
- Communicate and coordinate with internal departments to ensure resolution of issues in a timely fashion
Qualifications & Skills:
- A good understanding of Linux
- Monitoring, maintaining & improving performance
- Experience having Implemented remote access technologies
- DR planning
- Hardware configurations
