Expert Java Developer - Fully Remote

Are you a Senior Java Developer wanting to work for a global leader and one of the fastest-growing digital banking and payments companies in the uk?

Do you want to remain hands-on while still getting career progression without going down the management route?

Austin Fraser is representing a large payments company that has big plans to scale this year whilst offering a lot of autonomy with a 35-hour working week and remote working. They are Scaling by 100 heads meaning there are a LOT of opportunities to progress down 3 different promotion tracks. These are;

  • Sole contributors

  • People leadership

  • Architecture

The company is far from a start-up and has multiple projects of 5-10 years in duration where a greenfield payment platform is being developed and rolled out globally.

The experience we are looking for is;

  • Java Development Experience (Microservices, Spring Boot etc)
  • AWS
  • RabbitMQ, Kafka
  • Hadoop, Spark - Training provided
  • Continuous Integration ie. Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible

My client appreciates the fact that not everyone would have worked with all of these technologies so applications are welcome from candidates with a different technical background who have a willingness to adapt.
