Are you an experienced Engineering Manager looking for a new challenge?
Austin Fraser is supporting an industry leading and tech for good client who is looking to onboard an experienced Engineering Manager. With their work consisting of Greenfield projects, you will be involved in architectural decisions from day one!
You will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining the highly secured cloud platform which underpins their cyber security product. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to come in, take on this role and truly make it their own!
This role will see you responsible for leading a small team to develop the highly available, resilient, and secure platforms in AWS, writing and reviewing automation code with an eye to create a flexible, resilient, scalable and secure service offering, enabling your team to design and deliver infrastructure and components to support the DevOps function across the teams whilst taking ownership of delivering the engineering roadmap for the team.
- Advanced experience with AWS
- Advanced experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform)
- Extensive experience with Kubernetes, Docker and Helm
- Programming/Language skills - bash scripting, Python, GO, SQL languages, or related
- Prior experience and understanding of data security and controls
- Strong analytical skills and detail oriented
