Engineering Manager - Oxford - 6 Months

Austin Fraser is working with a market leading client who are looking to hire an interim Engineering Manager for an initial 6 months and have interview slots available this week.

The Engineering Manager will be responsible for managing an internal team of 11 split across a couple of different teams who focus on mix of Technical Support and Delivery including DevOps, QA, Development and Cloud.

Candidates will need to demonstrate recent people management alongside having a technical background/understanding of Development and QA processes. In an ideal world, the success candidate will have managed cross functional teams as part of successful project delivery.

The role is hybrid and will be based on site 1 day a week in Oxford and is Inside IR35.

Essential experience:
- People management (ideally teams of 8+)
- Technical background and current awareness (Java, DevOps, AWS, QA)
- Delivering projects utilising cross functional teams
