Austin Fraser are delighted to be partnered with an exciting and innovative business in the travel/urban space.
Their dynamic team are looking for a Hardware Electronic Engineer who will be responsible for designing and developing electronic cards/systems for payment and ticketing solutions.
You will play a crucial role throughout the entire product lifecycle, utilising Electronic CAD and PLM systems to create cost-effective designs for manufacture. This role requires providing comprehensive support for concept design, manufacturing, procurement, and obsolescence management.
Key Requirements:
Design and develop technical solutions in line with best practices, project requirements, and applicable standards.
Ensure compliance with current legislation and company policies for purchasing.
Produce new electronic circuit designs, including digital, analog, and mixed-signal, using a top-down methodology.
Create design and development documentation, including specifications, reports, and test specifications.
Validate and review designs created by others.
Conduct design and product testing, including functional, performance, EMC, and environmental tests.
Contribute creative solutions during technical meetings.
Carry out tasks in compliance with regulations, safety, and quality standards.
